Wow…we have now completed our four listening modules! Next up, we are moving on to skillsets related to expressing.
This month’s topic is Boundaries – foundational to so many aspects of relating. Such an important and connective topic.
Our boundaries are actually most frequently about creating the conditions in which connections can thrive (rather than creating disconnection!). As you'll see in the videos, having healthy boundaries leads to deeper connection than being 'boundaryless' or having 'walls'.
Please have a think about, and bring with you to class, a situation where you struggle to say 'no' and an offering where you struggle to say 'yes'.
For example, you might struggle to say no when a family member asks your for your time and find it difficult to say yes when someone offers to hold space for you. Perhaps you can't say no to certain foods or invitations to go out even when you feel tired. Maybe you struggle to accept inclusion in group activities or to receive help or financial support. Tuning in to your edges in this way will help you calibrate your boundaries during the class.
Look forward to seeing you there! All welcome.
