Fundamentals of Authentic Relating: Module 3 - Curiosity

In this session, we’ll be learning how to skilfully bring Curiosity into our relationships.

Curiosity can bring a life force into our conversations, our interactions, and our connections.

It has the power to open worlds – even in the places we may have thought were already closed - revealing new layers of understanding, animation, and possibility.

When we learn to attune to our own Curiosity, it becomes an aspect of relating that we can draw on whenever we choose - a source of energy, agency, and genuine interest that ensures no conversation ever needs to feel disconnected, or simply boring.

We’ll explore how Curiosity can be both a gift we bring to others and a life-giving force we awaken within ourselves. We’ll notice what it feels like to be met with genuine Curiosity, and how rare and enlivening that experience can be.

Through three partner practices, we’ll strengthen our capacity to listen with Curiosity. As always, you’ll also be invited to take home a practice to deepen your skills beyond the session.

This session is the third out of four modules focussed on listening - continuing to build the foundation of how we listen, before we move into the modules on expression.
