THE LISTENING ORGANISM :: Listening as an enlivening and creative act

In this Authentic Relating class we will explore our individual selves as listening organisms, as well as the group field as a listening organism.

We will learn ways to connect to our aliveness in listening, and to reflect to another in ways that feel safe and that support their aliveness and sovereignty, and that respect our interconnectedness as living beings in this world.

In this fully-facilitated 1.5 hr class Anna will lead a guided individual practice, and then we will move into a whole group practice exploring the group as listening organism - followed by time to debrief and integrate together.

In this space of play and learning we gently begin to practice ways to cultivate presence and bring our whole listening selves into a conversation, so that we can be in more intimate relationship with ourselves, others and the world around us.

Having the sorts of conversations and connections that really engage us starts with our own listening.

Everyone is welcome to this class – a taster of ways to experience our listening and reflection. A space to play in the relational field and explore safely together.

About your facilitator -
With 2.5 decades of experience as a facilitator leading groups into play, discussion and creativity together, Anna has a passion for supporting people into delightful and fruitful interaction with themselves and others. Anna has been practicing Authentic Relating for 10 years and facilitating AR for 5 years. She is a practicing counsellor, somatic therapist and artist.
